2018 Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator – The Steakhouse at Flying Horse is among Nation’s Winners; Full 2018 Dining Guide Revealed in Wine Spectator’s August Issue

Colorado Springs, CO – August 2018 — The Steakhouse has been honored for its outstanding wine program in Wine Spectator’s 2018 Restaurant Awards. The restaurant is recognized among other winners from all over the globe as a top destination for wine lovers.

“This year’s class of restaurants is one of the most impressive and innovative ever,” said Marvin R. Wine Spectator began its program to recognize the world’s best wine lists in 1981. There are three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award—with 2,453; 1,215; and 91 winners this year in each respective category. Seven of the Grand Award winners are first timers. The credibility that comes with being recognized by a high-quality publication such as Wine Spectator is quite the accomplishment for a relatively new restaurant such as The Steakhouse at Flying Horse, especially in Colorado Springs — a market where only three restaurants were awarded this prestigious designation.
